Hooked2Golf

Terms of Use

Last updated: 7 October 2026 · Applies to the Hooked2Golf app and hooked2golf.com

[PLACEHOLDER — review before launch] Plain-English terms drafted from how the app works today. The bracketed items need the legal entity, governing law and a solicitor's read before they go live.

1. Who you are dealing with

[PLACEHOLDER] Legal name and address (currently: Eoin Sullivan trading as Hooked2Golf, Ireland — confirm once the company is incorporated). Contact: [email protected] — confirm the mailbox exists.

2. What Hooked2Golf is

Hooked2Golf is a golf practice app: a weekly practice plan built from your answers, a round log based on the Tiger 5 and Head 5, journaling after every session and round, and an AI Mental Coach. It is free to use at launch. We may add paid features later; nothing you have today will be taken away without notice.

3. Your account

4. The Mental Coach, and what it is not

5. Fair use

Use the app for your own golf. Don't try to break it, scrape it, overload it, get around the usage limits, or use the coach for anything other than golf coaching. Don't upload anything unlawful or that belongs to someone else. We can suspend accounts that do.

6. Your content

Your reflections, notes, photos and messages stay yours. You give us permission to store and process them only so the app can work for you — for example, so the coach can read your recent reflections. We don't use your content to advertise, and we don't sell it.

7. Our content

The app, its design, drills, coaching doctrine and written material are ours or licensed to us. You may use them within the app for your own practice, and not otherwise copy or republish them.

8. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the app running but it is provided "as is" and may be unavailable at times, especially around updates. We may change or withdraw features; where a change matters we will tell you in the app first.

9. Liability

Golf is played at your own risk and so is practice. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost enjoyment, or decisions you make based on the app or the coach. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

[PLACEHOLDER] Solicitor to confirm the liability wording for Irish consumer law and add any cap.

10. Ending things

You can stop using the app and delete your account whenever you like. We can close accounts that break these terms. Sections 6, 7 and 9 survive.

11. Governing law

[PLACEHOLDER] These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland and the Irish courts have jurisdiction, without taking away consumer protections you have where you live — confirm.

12. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect. The date at the top shows the current version.
